Fees & Features

Fees for the 2018 program are:

Paris, June 1 - 30:
$3919.53 for undergraduate students.*
$4800.49 for graduate students
(Includes four course credits and all program inclusions listed below.)

London, July 1 – July 6th
undergraduate students:*
$1453.92 for those enrolled for one credit, $1628.53 for two credits
graduate students:   $1674.16 for those enrolled for one credit, $2069.81 for two credits

*These fees can be reduced for students on Florida Prepaid tuition.
The above fees apply to both USF students and non-USF students whether in-state or out-of-state. 

Included features for the 2018 program:

  • Pre-departure Orientations and Student Program Guides including travel preparations, overview of the culture, language, history and food of Paris, and much more.
  • Double occupancy lodging (Premium housing options, including single occupancy with private bath and shower, are available for a surcharge of approximately $450.00-500.00. Contact the program coordinator for details.)
  • Pass for unlimited use of metro and bus systems within Paris, group day trips to sites outside of Paris including Chartres, Giverny, Auvers-sur-Oise, Vaux-le-Vicomte by train or chartered bus and unlimited weekend travel in the Ile-de-France region surrounding Paris.
  • Train ticket for transportation from the airport to the residence upon arrival in Paris.
  • For students not enrolled in the London excursion who return to the Paris airport on June 30th, transportation to the airport by either limo van service or RER train (student's choice).
  • All admissions to art museums (both group and individual visits)
  • All admissions to cultural sites during group excursions
  • Welcome dinner, group picnic and one three-course restaurant dinner
  • One performance event (ballet at Opera de Paris)
  • All transportation, tickets and admissions for optional weekend activities
  • Maps and guides
  • International student card
  • Academic instruction and program oversight by USF faculty, program director and program assistant.
  • Cost includes up to 4 credits in Paris. (Students can earn up to 6 credits by enrolling in Paris and London.)

The London excursion includes:  travel from Paris to London by Eurostar train,  6 nights lodging at a centrally-located student residence with full breakfast each morning, London travelpass valid for unlimited use of the underground and bus systems, all admissions to museums and cultural sites visited as a group, chartered bus transfers from the London train station to the residence upon arrival from the residence to the London airports for departure, USF-provided health and emergency insurance, guidance of the USF program staff and faculty and up to two credits.

Variable Program Costs (not included in the program fee):

  • Round-trip airfare
  • Individual instructional materials & books (approximately $50-$100.00)
  • Meals and personal expenses (suggested budget of approximately $200.00 per week)

** USF provides students and faculty study abroad program participants with insurance coverage for sickness, accident, hospitalization and emergency medical evacuation. This coverage is extended to program participants for the dates of the program. Those who plan to travel independently, in advance of or after the program, should arrange their own insurance coverage and can obtain suggestions for such insurance from the program director.

Payment Schedule:

Students must commit to the program no later than January 31, 2018.
A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 5 working days after committing to the program.

  • March 1 (90 days prior to departure), 25% of the program fee exclusive of tuition is due
  • April 1 (60 days prior to departure), 75% of the program fee exclusive of tuition is due
  • May 1 (30 days prior to departure), 100% of the program fee exclusive of tuition is due
  • Tuition is due at the time on-campus tuition is normally due for the term.


Cancellation policy:

The deposit is completely non-refundable.   You are strongly encouraged to purchase trip cancellation insurance if there is a possibility that you may have to cancel out of the program between the payment of the deposit and the departure date.

$400 minus non-recoverable program costs if cancellation is made at least 91 days prior to departure.
$200 minus non-recoverable program costs if cancellation is made at least 90 days prior to departure.
No refunds 60 days prior to departure or later.
