THE KENNEDY FAMILY ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

The program was established in 2009 due to a generous gift by the Kennedy family for an Endowed Artist and Scholar Residency in the USF School of Art and Art History.

Each year, with input from students and faculty, a recognized professional is invited for up to one semester to develop groundbreaking interdisciplinary projects and to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. During their visit, these eminent arts professionals develop creative solutions to challenging issues of contemporary society and act as catalysts for formal outreach within the institution and beyond; in the diverse cultures of the Tampa Bay communities.
